LEPTA SHIPPING CO., LTD. ordered Sno. 706, a 40,000 DWT bulk carrier, named “LOWLANDS ENGEL” and safely delivered to the owner on November 11, 2023.

The naming & delivery ceremony was held on November 22 under perfect autumn fresh and clear weather. We, shipyard would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Japanese owner and European charterers for coming to Hachinohe to attend the ceremony, which was a great success.

M/V “LOWLANDS ENGEL” is the forth in series of 40,000 DW bulk carriers and is equipped with SOx scrubber for environmental friendliness, and is a state-of-the-art vessel equipped with M0 that satisfies Phase 3 of the new ship fuel consumption regulations (EEDI regulations).

We, shipyard hope that M/V “LOWLANDS ENGEL” will be a treasured vessel for all concerned, including the shipowner. We will continue to make concerted efforts to improve the quality of our products.
