HANYU FREESIA, 12,500 DWT stainless steel chemical tanker of SNo. 707, ordered by “RISING SUN NAVIGATION S.A.” was successfully delivered on February 20, 2024.

About 30 guests attended the ceremony, including from Korea. The day before delivery, the participants went sightseeing in Aomori City and had an eve party at a hotel in Aomori City to refresh their spirits. We, shipyard would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of you for making the ceremony a great success.　

This vessel is a sister ship of HANYU AZALEA, which was delivered to HANYU in October 2022. The cargo tanks are made of SUS316L stainless steel, which is capable of carrying acidic cargoes, and the rudder is equipped with valves and fins that contribute to energy saving. She will be operated to transport chemical mainly in the Asia area.

We sincerely hope that she will be a treasured vessel for all concerned and all at Kitanihon Shipbuilding wish the vessel’s safe voyage and the continued prosperity of the owner and all related parties.
