LEPTA SHIPPING CO., LTD. ordered S-712, 40,000DWT type bulk carrier, named “NORSE VERACRUZ” and safely delivered to the owner on October 9, 2024. The vessel sailed out for Canberra, Australia to load the first cargoes at there. The vessel will load the steel coils at Canberra and will transport for Italy.

The ceremony was held under the fresh autumn day. We, shipyard would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Japanese owner and charterers for coming from Denmark, Hongkong, Ehime, Hiroshima, Shizuoka and Tokyo to Hachinohe.

M/V “NORSE VERACRUZ” is the eighth vessel in series of 40,000DWT type bulk carriers project and is equipped with SOx scrubber for environmental friendliness, and is a state-of-the-art vessel equipped with M0 that satisfies Phase 3 of the new ship fuel consumption regulations (EEDI regulations). Furthermore, the log stanchions are installed at both side of the deck and are characterized by wide range capability for various cargoes.
