LEPTA SHIPPING CO., LTD. ordered S-713, 40,000DWT type bulk carrier, named “NORSE OMISHIMA” and safely delivered to the owner on January 8, 2025. The vessel sailed out for Yeosu, South Korea to take the bunker at there.

M/V “NORSE OMISHIMA” is the ninth vessel in series of 40,000DWT type bulk carriers project and is equipped with SOx scrubber for environmental friendliness, and is equipped with Unmanned operation(M0)system that satisfies EEDI Phase-3 regulations.　Furthermore, the ship adapts to NOx Tier3 regulation that represents the NOx reduction of about 80% from the NOx Tier 1 limit. Of cause, the log stanchions are installed at both side of the deck and are characterized by wide range capability for various cargoes.
