Singaporean owner ordered S-722 refrigerated cargo carrier, named “SENEGAL EXPRESS” and safely delivered to the owner on March 28, 2025. The vessel sailed out to Tokyo for fuel bunkering. We believe the vessel contributes banana trade between Europe and West Africa. But before that, she will engage kiwi fruits transportation from New Zealand to Japan and South Korea for a while.

M/V “SENEGAL EXPRESS” is the forth series of 630,000cft type refrigerated cargo carrier project (Final delivery for French charterer) and is equipped with the latest Controlled Atmosphere(CA) technology in the cargo holds, new SOx scrubber system for environmental friendliness, and is a state-of-the-art vessel equipped with Unmanned operation(M0) system that satisfies Phase-2 of the new ship fuel consumption regulations (EEDI regulations). In addition, the vessel can onboard 154 of 40 feet reefer containers on the deck. Also, 40t and 8t hyd. deck cranes(total: 4) can handle speedy loading of containers and pallet cargoes at the various ports in Africa and Europe.

We, shipyard hopes M/V “SENEGAL EXPRESS” will be a treasured vessel for all concerned parties under the current positive fruits global trades. We will keep continue to make efforts to provide high-quality merchant vessels for owners and global operators.
